Interim post! I’m gonna use some words. Just a few! We’ve been experiencing some technical difficulties… ahem. (Read: we haven’t been keeping up with our goal). It’s been a few days since we’ve both submitted something. Mid-terms are upon us, very very upon us.
But the last post was super successful, and you didn’t even know it. I don’t think Emily even knows it. Why was it so rewarding? Emily posted her picture first, then I posted mine, and you know what? I didn’t even plan it to be the same colors or to work that seamlessly with her pick. I handpicked that photo before I even saw hers, as I recall, because I was tying my copper-toned shoes while I was sifting through photos. Amazing. This is the type of thing that will keep us going. That serendipitous feeling of being on the same brainwave/frequency/mind-avenue/thingamabobber. Ooo, it feels good!
So that’s all. The brief hiatus (and Spring Break, woot!) gives us a new blank slate. This is all being typed out with crossed fingers. We be busy! But that’s no excuse.
